What is Rummikub.com?
Rummikub.com is the official site of Rummikub™. Bringing together the Rummikub community of millions of players from around the world.
Finally, the game that's sold over 50 million boxes throughout the world is available online.
Why should I play Rummikub online?
Today, families and friends often find themselves moving away from each other, for work, adventure or other reasons – we no longer necessarily live in close proximity to the people we love. With Rummikub online you can bring together your family, friends and other people you love, or you can go online and meet new people, make new friends and play the much loved game.
What happens when I win?
At the end of each game a score table will appear on the screen. Naturally, your name will be placed at the top of the list and everyone will see you're the winner. All game statistics are recorded in ”My Game Stats” and your scores and ratings are adjusted automatically. By winning you also earn 10-25 Joker credits (for details see “Joker Credits” chapter)

Playing the game

I have just registered, how do I start playing?
The fastest way is to click on the “PLAY NOW” button. We recommend new players to review the game Rules before the first game.
What happens if my game disconnects in the middle?
If your game is cut off in the middle, log in again, go to games lobby and click on one of the rooms – the system will then recognize you were in the middle of a game and ask you if you wish to go back to the room you were playing in. Your game will resume where you left off.
How do I add friends to my friends list?
You can add friends to your friends list by clicking 'friend request', once the person has approved the request, they will be added to your friends list. If you log in using F_Connect your Facebook friends will be added automatically.
What happens if my game freezes?
If your screen freezes, click the refresh link on the top navigation bar. The screen will then refresh and you will find yourself back in the same game room you were in previously. Please DO NOT click refresh on your browser or F5 on your keyboard.

My Account

How do I register?
Sign up page: click on the link Register to Rummikub (on the upper toolbar) Fill in all the fields and click on the SIGN UP button You can use the F_Connect button to register with your facebook account (you should be logged in to facebook or you will be prompted to log in to your facebook account) Sign up through the game room: enter a game as a viewer. Choose a seat and a pop up "Sign up & Play" will appear Fill in all the fields and click the SIGN UP button You can also use the F_Connect button to register with your facebook account (you should be logged in to facebook or you will be prompted to log in to your facebook account).
How do I log in?
In order to log in click on the Login link (on the upper toolbar) Fill in your username (account) and password. You can also use the F_Connect button to Log in with your facebook account (you should be logged in to facebook or you will be prompted to log in to your facebook account)
I forgot my password – what do I do?
Click the Forgot your password link on the ”Register to Rummikub” page, just below where you normally sign in. You will be asked to fill in your username and email address and an email will be sent to you with a temporary password and a link. Follow the link, enter the temporary password then follow the instructions to reset your new password. Make sure your password is not easy to guess or forget and that it is known only to you. Keep this password secure at all times. It sometimes takes 2 minutes to receive the email with the temporary password. If you don’t see the email check if it was placed in your spam or junk folder.
How do I change my password?
You can change your password by clicking on the change password link in the Edit Profile page.
How do I check my progress/rank?
Click the link: “My game stats" under your profile picture or in the game. Below your picture/avatar there is an icon that opens the statistics PopUp.
How is my rank determined?
Your player rank is calculated by the system using a complex algorithm developed by the US Chess Federation. The algorithm takes into account your wins and losses as well as your opponents' rank. Each player is ranked as a New Player, Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced or Expert.
How do I check my game history?
Click the link: "My game stats" under your profile picture.
If I decline a friend request, or remove a person from my friends list will the person find out?
In short – No. Your friends are your business. If you decline a friend request or delete a person from your friends list that person will not be notified.
How do I delete a person from my friend's list?
To delete a member from your friends list click on the delete button or icon next to their name.
How do I change / update my profile info?
Click on the icon in Rummikub home page (at the top left area). You can change your display name, date of birth, personal status, country of residence and write a few words about yourself.

Facebook account Versus Rummikub.com account

We recommend that you connect your two accounts into one. This is done with the click of a button, you will then have the same friends and statistics both in Facebook and in your Rummikub.com account.
I play Rummikub on facebook and would like to play at Rummikub.com too.
No problem. Go to Rummikub.com and click the “ F_Connect with Facebook” button. You will now have a single account which you can use on either application. (You will have the same friends, statistics etc.)
I have a Rummikub.com account* and would also like to play on the Facebook application.
* This is relevant to accounts created by completing the registration form and without using the “F connect with facebook” option button.

First, click 'accept' on the Rummikub facebook application.

Click the link “Got a Rummikub.com account?” on the welcome page, or see the same link on the page footer. Once you click the link, log in with the same details as you use for your Rummikub.com account.

Important note: If you are logging in from a different computer, you will have to repeat the above process.
I have a Rummikub.com account (created by using the “F connect with facebook” button) and would also like to play on the Facebook application.
All you need to do is click 'accept' on the Rummikub facebook application and you will be using the same account details for the two applications.
I have a Rummikub.com account* and would like a SEPERATE Facebook account (or vice versa). How do i do it?
* This is relevant to accounts created by completing the registration form and without using the “F connect with facebook” option button.

After you have accepted the Rummikub Facebook application you will have two separate accounts.

Joker
 
Credits

You receive 15-18 free Joker Credits just by logging in to Rummikub once a day. You can also purchase Credits online.
Game Daily Bonus
You receive 15 free Joker credits just by logging in to Rummikub once a day.
Why didn’t I get the Game Daily Bonus ?
Our database works according to London time (GMT+0). To get your daily bonus – log in during the day according to London time.

For example, if you live in New York, you can log in at 6:00PM and then again at 7:00PM to collect 2 daily bonuses! Please note time differences due to daylight saving.
Defeat a friend Bonus:
By winning a game you can earn up to 25 joker credits. Defeating a friend will add 5 bonus credit for each friend you played against, plus 10 credits for winning a game.
Fan page Bonus:
If you are a member in the Rummikub Online fan page on Facebook You will receive 3 credits in addition to your Game Daily Bonus each day you log in to Rummikub

Earning Credits

Earning credits allows you to fill offers or surveys and in return receive Joker Credits in Rummikub.
I filled out an offer, how long does it take until I receive the Joker Credits?
Usually you will get your Joker credits within up to 2 minutes. In rare cases it takes a bit longer, mainly in cases where the offer provider has to approve the offer.
I waited but didn’t get Joker Credits
If you have waited and haven’t received your Joker Credits even a day after filling out the offer, please use the “contact us”/ “get help”/”support” button on the page where you chose the offer. If you receive no reply, contact us.

Create a room

How do I own a room?
Any player can choose to open and set up a new room or join an existing room. To open a new room go to Create a Room and make your selections. Once you have saved your new room settings, your room will appear on the list of rooms in the Lobby. You are now the owner of the room and the only person who can open and close the room – this is done in the Lobby. You are also the only person who can change the room settings.
Special features for room owner
After you have created a room you can have the following benefits:
1. Add up to two robots. Play and practice with the robots
2. Lock room option
Lock room option
You can lock your room:
1. Locked to All: no one new can enter your room. If you have players that already play or stay in your room before you lock the room they will stay
2. Friends only: that mean that your room will be locked to all the people except your friends that will be allowed to get in.

Social Issues

Does the system have an admin?
Rummikub doesn’t have an admin. There are however 'room owners'. Rooms can be owned by the system, or by individuals who have decided to open a room and invite people to play. Anyone can open and 'own' a room.
Can I chat with friends during a game?
There are two ways to chat with friends during a game, publicly or privately. As a viewer you can join a room's public chat.

Play With Friends

There are several options for playing with your friends:
Copy game link and paste to facebook chat or IM
If your friend is online and you want them to play with you -
1) Click this icon to copy a link to your game (no need to press CTRL+C).
2) Paste this link (CTRL+V) in a chat/IM message.
3) When your friend will click the link, he will be taken to the room you are playing in.
Online friends:
If your friend is online you can join his room by clicking on “join room” > this option is available in the Mini world, the games lobby or in the room.
Facebook invitation:
You can invite your Facebook friends to join your room by posting a link to your room on your Facebook wall.
Play in your room only with your friends
You can lock your room and choose the option ”Friends only”. This means that your room will be locked to all people except your friends that will be allowed to get in.

Gifts

How do i send a gift?
Sending an animated or special gift is easy. Simply stand on the picture or video of the person you would like to send a gift to, a pop up will appear with a “send gift” option.
How do i know who sent me the gift?
The animated gift will appear on the right hand side of your player’s display. It will have a colored icon next to it – the color represents the player who sent the gift.
Where have my gifts disappeared to?
All gifts disappear at the end of each game.
Can I send a gift to everyone in the room?
Yes you can. At the top of the gift display page there is a checkbox marked: “Send to all players”. Check the box and choose a gift.
What’s the difference between an animated and a special gift?
Animated gifts will display a short animation when being presented. Special gifts will appear on the players’ display beneath their picture.

Technical Issues

Are there any software requirements or downloads I need before I start playing?
Playing Rummikub requires no software or special downloads. However, you will require Macromedia Flash 10.0 (or above) installed on your computer. Most computers have that installed already.
Click on the flash player link to update to the latest version.
Does Rummikub.com work with every browser?
Rummikub.com works with the following browsers: Internet explorer: 7, 8, 9, Mozilla Firefox, chrome and Safari.
When the game loads the Loader freezes at 39% - why is that?
The problem is related to a blocked port. Some companies/organizations block external ports. In some cases home firewall or home routers are set to block this port: 8090 (Gaming port 843) You need to open it, ask your PC guy to help you.
I am experiencing other problems with loading the game - what should I do?
You may be experiencing a problem with your browser and need to clear your cache to continue logging in successfully.
How do I clear the cache?
Internet Explorer:
1. Choose "Tools" from the upper toolbar
2. Delete Browsing History
3. Choose temporary internet files & click DELETE

Mozilla Firefox
1. Choose "Tools"
2. Clear Private Data
3. Choose Cache & click Clear Private Data Now
4. Click OK
5. Exit and re-launch the browser
I do not see the loader at all – what should I do?
You may not have an updated version of flash player
Is it available for Mac?
Yes, you can now enjoy Rummikub.com seamlessly across platforms, even if you have a Mac
Is it available for Linux?
Yes.

Equipment

Do I need to have a webcam?
No, you can participate in Rummikub games without a camera. But we highly recommend that you use one, so you can fully experience the fun and so that people can see who you are. When buying a webcam, be sure to get one that will produce good quality video.
Do I need to have a headset?
No, you can speak using a microphone and speakers but we highly recommend that you use a headset to avoid background noise. A headset allows you to better communicate with your Rummikub friends and your family while playing. For best quality audio we recommend using a headset (headphones with a microphone). Tip: If you have a microphone built into your computer or laptop, just plug in a set of regular headphones to avoid any echo.

For Parents

What if my child sees inappropriate content or offensive material?
Rummikub treats the safety of its users very seriously and makes significant efforts to remove any objectionable material that may be posted on the site. We encourage users to report offensive profiles, messages, groups and photos. Please make sure to let us know and fill the feedback form with all of the user’s known details. This will ensure we track down the correct person. Reported items are reviewed by customer support representatives and removed if deemed in violation of our Terms of Use.
How should I help my child use this site wisely?
The best thing to do is to talk to your children and educate them about Internet safety. Remind them:
  • Do not share password details with anyone.
  • Understand their privacy settings
  • Report people who violate our Terms of Use
  • Delete a friend that might be sending undesired content

Safety and Privacy

Is my personal information secure?
At Rummikub we completely respect your privacy and confidentiality. We do not pass on or share your personal details with any 3rd parties and all information is encrypted and secure for your protection.
When will I be e-mailed?
Initially we will email you to verify your email address, then, from time to time we may send you service emails or notices of major improvements and developments as well as competitions and tournaments – only relevant information. We'll keep it short and sweet.
What do I do if I'm being abused or spot improper behavior?
In order to provide a safe and pleasant gaming environment Rummikub provided room owners with the tools to disable a player's video or mute their audio so that they cannot be seen or heard by other players in the room. If you wish to report another player for improper behavior, please let us know via the feedback form with as many details as possible. We will then check, follow up and take appropriate action. We will not disclose your details.
What do I do if I find an explicit, hateful or otherwise objectionable profile?
We don't want any content like this on Rummikub and would appreciate you notifying us of any objectionable profiles. Please inform us of offensive profile pictures and content via the feedback form. You will be asked to specify the offensive content. We will review your complaint and will act to ensure all users comply with our Terms of Use so that Rummikub remains a trusted environment where people can interact safely.
What do I do if I see something explicit, hateful, or otherwise objectionable in a message or chat box?
